ABOUT US
Encounter Community Church was planted as Life Triumphant Church in Limavady in 2013 by Pastors David and Claire Cullen. In February 2015 the mantle of senior pastor was handed over to Pastor Mike Carlisle and his family.
Encounter is a community committed to living life together, supporting one another and spending time together, all in a manner focussed on God. This means that our time together is quite varied. We get together for our 'church service' on a Sunday morning at 10:30.
Through the week we have prayer meetings, men's ministry and multiple cups of coffee ongoing, as we build a community together.
Our belief is that the church is not just for Sunday mornings, or even a midweek meeting on top of that. But that it is a way of life. Church is not what you do for a couple of hours every week, but who you are in everyday life.
We stand on the word of God as the highest authority. We believe that God loves us, He is for us, He is powerful and He has a plan for us. We believe that He has the power to heal, to provide, to change situations and to transform lives. Above all we believe that God is good and worthy of all we can give!
